  2. Bob and I were friends all four years of high school. I have many great memories of our group and times together (St Jeromes teen town, the basketball games, pere marquette park). We were from the same parish and carpooled to CCHS with two other students and our moms’ shared driving four days a week. On the fifth day we met at a specified place on Diamond drive in Riverview Gardens and took a cab. We each paid the driver one quarter for the ride all the way to school. I’m so sorry to read of his passing.

  3. Bob was my dear, dear friend since high school. He was kind, courageous, and had a great sense of humor. He never let his physical limitations stop him from living a full and happy life. He always phoned me on my birthday in January to remind me that now I was older than him. Of course, his birthday was only two weeks after mine. I will miss him so much. I cherish his friendship and memories. It was a blessing to me to have him as my friend.

  6. Bob, Steve Wieck and myself were grade school friends. Bob went to CCHS and I went to McBride. Lost track of Steve Wieck due to his moving frequently because his dad worked for Famous Barr—vice president. Bob was an easy-going person who loved to have fun. We used to tell him to settle down when he got too wild. Played a pretty good game of basketball. I remember him being tall for his age. Good guy to be around.
