Zimmermann, Edward E., passed away on November 7, 2025.

Beloved husband of Mary Ann Zimmermann (nee Baeres) for 35 years; loving father of Robyn (Michael) Stoien, Shawn Wolff, Nicole (Michael) Kuhn, Nicole (Jeremy) Hardy and the late Larry Wolff; cherished grandfather of Samantha, Sydney, Ashton, Aiden and Sophia; dear brother of Paul (Rochelle) Zimmermann, Jon (Ann) Zimmermann, Joe (the late Karen) Zimmermann, Al (Nina) Zimmermann and Gene (Dawn) Zimmermann.

Ed was a firefighter for Rock Community Fire Protection District, long-time member of I.A.F.F. #2665, St. Louis Metropolitan USAR-TF5 and the City of Arnold Police Personnel Board.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thursday, November 13, 11:00 am. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials to The Backstoppers, appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

  4. Ed was a good soul. Growing up together in grade school and attending same high school. He touched my life profoundly early in adulthood by his leadership in an effort to set me on a better track to life success. I will never forget it as long as I live.

    The community has lost a good man. Godspeed, Ed!

  6. Ed and I grew up together playing football in his backyard baseball in haberbergers field. Riding bikes. Playing square ball in his driveway. Camping out in the yard. Paul Jon ed Joe Al and gene. Paul would pile drive us in football. My sister babysat and their house caught on fire. Always fun with ed

    So sorry to hear about the loss of Ed. He was a terrific guy and great neighbor to my family. I always enjoyed spending time with him.
