In Loving Memory

McBride, Pamela Ann

Pamela Ann McBride was born on November 16, 1961 in Cambridge, MD to Richard Allen, and Joyce (nee Oakes) McBride.

She went to be home with Our Lord Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the age of 63.

Loving mother of Tyler (Kelsie Houska) Graham, dear sister of Rick (Debby) McBride, and the later Ken (Kelly) McBride.
Pamela brought love, care, and laughter to so many people throughout her life. She devoted herself to caring for the elderly women who meant so much
to her and she poured her heart into nurturing friendships that spanned decades. Her warmth, compassion and steady presence touched every person who had the blessing of knowing her. She will be remembered for the joy she shared, the kindness she offered effortlessly, and the strength she showed throughout her journey. We find peace knowing she is home with The Lord and there is no more suffering.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Thursday, November 20 at 11:00 am at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church 4355 Butler Hill Rd.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the ALS Association in Pam’s honor, so that others may one day be spared from the profound challenges of this devastating disease. KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY SERVICE.

  1. I am so sorry for the loss of my cousin, Pam, but rejoice that she is free from the pain and suffering of ALS and now in her heavenly home. I loved Pam’s sense of humor and quick laugh. We enjoyed lots of fun memories at family gatherings in our early years and had been reminiscing of the good old days in recent months through her texts of funny and sweet memes. Sending prayers of peace and comfort to Tyler, Ricky, Debby and her caring friends and family who have been with her during her difficult days. XOXO, Cousin Laura in Dallas, TX

    • Laura,
Pamela often spoke of ‘Cousin Laura’ growing up and later in life. I know that she enjoyed your ‘cousinship’ and your friendship. Your family meant a lot to her. Thank you so much for your kind words.

  3. Pam was an awesome daughter, mom and such a fun cousin. The memories I have of spending the summers with her always shine bright – from Kentucky Lake, South County, Grandma Boots house at Easter and her visit with Aunt Joyce to visit San Francisco after I moved here. She was so there and present for both my mom and dad’s passing, which meant the world to me. I wish I could have been there for you more. RIP, God’s Blessings and I will cherish our good times. Love you, Beth McBride

  4. Pamela was my niece and we have fond memories of her childhood days in St. Louis. She was always a fun, happy little girl – the only girl among 3 brothers. We would visit their big home often for numerous family get togethers. Although we lost some contact in later years, we knew that she was a good mother to Tyler & a good friend to many. We celebrate her life & send our love & sympathy to Tyler & the family. God bless you, Pamela, and you are now free of the pain & suffering of ALS.

    Love,
    Aunt Kathleen & Uncle Bill

  5. Pamela was my niece, daughter of my younger brother. I have fond memories of her growing up, the only girl among 3 boys. She was fun loving & happy & we had many family get-togethers at their home in St. Louis. Pam was a loyal friend & loving mother to her son, Tyler. We know she is at peace & free of the pain & suffering of this horrible disease. God be with her family & friends at this most difficult of times.

  6. Dear McBride family,
I really loved Pam. She always had a smile, a laugh and a kind word to share. Our boys grew up together going to Washington Lutheran School. My oldest son was in Tyler’s class. Now, Tyler has grown to be an awesome man and I attribute that to God and the person and mother Pam was. She was a loving, very fun but firm role model for Tyler. I will continue to see her, as she shines through Tyler’s smiling face. I’m really going to miss this strong, wonderful woman.
With all my love and condolences,

  7. As Pam journeyed through life, she left footprints wherever she went— footprints of kindness and love, courage and compassion, humor and inspiration, joy and faith. Even when she’s gone, we can still look back and clearly see the trail she left behind—a trail bright with hope that invites us to follow.

Tyler, have comfort in knowing your mother’s love is eternal. Hold on to that infinite love and let it be your guiding light and inspiration to continue the legacy she created.

Pam will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
