Great Grandmother to twenty-two lovebugs.

Joan was raised at the top of the hill in Steubenville OH. She was the life of the party from the start. Joan moved to St. Louis MO with her 1st husband Harold Jones where she lived most of her adult life. She believed deeply in the Catholic Church and showed her faith in helping anyone she could; she never knew a stranger. She was later often defined by her work as a Certified Professional Secretary working many years with Peabody Coal Company & was elected President of the National Chapter of Women in Mining. Through this career she not only provided for her seven children but made countless, lasting friendships that became chosen family.
