Beloved husband of Jacqueline Bohn (nee Gaskill); loving father of Stacy (Brian) Wright; adoring Pop Pop of Davina, Noah, River-Rose; cherished son of the late George and Carol Bohn; dear brother of Dr. Carole Bohn, Bonnie (the late Thomas) Forster, Dr. Tim (Dr. Shelley) Bohn, Daniel (Robyn) Bohn, Peggy (Joseph) Ebert, George (Lorna) Bohn, Robyn (Ron) Jenkins and the late Thomas (surviving Joann) Bohn, Patrick (surviving Patricia) Bohn and Charmaine (surviving Scott) Bender. Our dearest brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Mark was the heart of our family—the one who made sure no one was ever left out, the one who reached out, checked in, and gathered us all together. He had a rare and beautiful way of showing up for the people he loved, with a steadiness and generosity that never wavered. No one was too small, no need too great, and no distance too far for Mark.
He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation, and just as quickly offer his time, his strength, and his hands to help—whether that meant fixing something, building something, or simply being there when it mattered most. He carried a quiet strength and a deeply kind heart, and those who knew him felt both.
He was a partner, a source of constant love, and someone who stood beside you through all things. This past year, even in the face of so much, his courage and spirit never left him. He remained present, grateful, and deeply connected to the people he loved.
Mark leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and devotion that will continue to live on in all of us. We will carry him with us—in the way we care for one another, in the way we show up, and in the way we hold our family close.
Memorial Service at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Saturday, March 28 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held in private.
I miss my friend. I miss the “Markisms” I’m so sad for Jackie, Stacy and his grandchildren.
