It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Marwan Ibrahim Sholy, age 64, entered into the arms of our Lord and Savior on April 13, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Marwan was born on November 25, 1961, in Beirut, Lebanon.For the majority of his life, Marwan worked many jobs, starting as a construction worker, moving up as a self-contractor, and eventually becoming a truck driver. He built a life anchored in love, kindness, and selflessness.
He is survived by his three brothers: Beshara (Carol) Sholy; Edward (Antoinette) Sholy; and Roger Sholy, and by his two sisters: Joumana Sholy; and Joceline (Nicolas) Chahoud. He was preceded in death by his parents Ibrahim and Nadia Sholy.
Beloved uncle and great-uncle to Jonathan Sholy, Meghan (Avery Wells) Sholy-Wells, Nadia Wells, Christine (Nathan Lambert) Sholy, Theresa Sholy; Casandra, Anthony, and George Sholy; Ricardo, Jasmine, and Kristy Sholy; Elaine and Charlene Sholy; Elia, Alex, and Chloe Chahoud.
He leaves behind a legacy his family will continue: to always help those in need.
Visitation will be held on April 19, 2026 at Kutis Funeral Home located at 10151 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
The funeral mass will be held on April 20, 2026 at St. Raymond-St. Elizabeth Church located at 1420 S. Sappington Road, Crestwood, MO 63126, procession starting at 9:00am at Kutis Funeral Home.
Donations in Marwan’s memory, may be made to St. Raymond-St. Elizabeth Church.
