Born and raised in Saint Louis Missouri, Michael Wilson lived for 51 years. Leaving a small community in Round Pond, Arkansas his mother and father Lear Lee Wilson and Willie Carson Wilson first settled in Wellston, later in Pinelawn. He attended Normandy high school where he played for the Vikings football team. Mike was an exceptional fisherman and an extraordinary bowler.
The youngest of three Mike and his brothers, Donald E. Wilson (oldest) and Rodney E. Wilson were more than just their brothers’ keeper. They were his friends, mentors, protectors and role models.
While navigating this journey called life, he fathered two daughters, Aigner Wilson (oldest) and Rachelle Abt, an unbreakable bond and truly daddy’s girls. Amie Taylor, his final love of over 20 years brought a joy to Mike’s heart no one could imagine.
Mike also enjoyed life with his 8 grandchildren, two grandsons Mykell Jackson (16) and Alando Dismute III (6). With 6 granddaughters, Ariannah Abt (11), Nyira Griggs (10), Avani Wilson (10), Alaya Dismute (5), Avea Wilkes (5) and Ejypt Wilson (4 months).
Preceding in death, Lear Lee Wilson. Mike’s mother is his everything. A relationship like theirs was unmatched, as they reunite again.
With a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, Mike and memories of his presence will continue to live on.
