Bill Federhofer Sr. passed away peacefully with his family by his side on the night of August 31, 2026, at the age of 88. Bill loved his wife, Merle, more than anything in the world. They were married for 60 years, and for just about that entire time, they ran Federhofer’s Bakery side by side. Even as the decades and years passed, Bill kept showing up and putting in the work for as long as he physically could. He cherished the bakery and all the lives he touched while working there. His priorities never wavered: Merle came first, followed right behind by his family, the bakery, and, of course, his golf game. Bill lived a full, good life, worked hard for the people he cared about, and left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to know him. Bill is remembered, loved, and cherished by his four children: Cheryl Hrabusicky, Bill Federhofer Jr., Robin Linderer, and Danny Federhofer. Cheryl and her husband, Larry Hrabusicky, have 4 children and 8 grandchildren; Bill Jr. has 2 children; Robin and her husband, Kirk Linderer, have 6 children and 6 grandchildren; and Danny and his wife, Dawn Federhofer, have 6 children and 10 grandchildren. In total, Bill Sr. leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, love for his family, and a steady presence in the community. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
