Masaganda); the much-loved

second dad of Jessica Samsel and a very special friend of Barbara Harris; loving “dad” to his four legged companion, Rusty; dear brother of Patricia (Paul) Scucchi, Peggy (Jim) O’Mara, Jack (Paula) Collins, Kathleen (Eddie) Ricci and the late Robert (Marie  surviving) Colllins; dear son-in-law of Lydia Masaganda; dear brother-in-law of Mila Ventura, Marivic Garan and Diasdado  Masaganda. He loved being uncle to John  (Bunny) O’Mara,  Daniel (Karen) Scucchi, Cathleen Samsel,  Paula (Jim) Kraft, Mark Scucchi, Patty (Joe) Allegra, Maureen (Marty) Woodrome, Annie (Paul) Kenah, Patrick (Alex) Collins, John (Paula) Collins, Ladie D’courville, Lan Santiago and Maidie Ventura, Jan, Deo and Michael Masaganda, Maeka, Danel and Madel  Masaganda, Dane, Dana and Gelo Garan and the late Lynn Collins. Great uncle to many great nieces and nephews.

He had a mischievous sense of humor and a marvelous spirit. His friendships lasted a lifetime. Above all he loved his family dearly and liked nothing better than family gatherings. We will always miss him.

The family would like to express our sincere gratitude and love to Melissa Casagrande, the best caregiver ever and now part of the Collins Clan!  Special thanks also to Mercy Hospice for their wonderful care.

SERVICES:  Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255  Lemay Ferry Road on Thurs., May 11, 11 a.m. until 12 noon  procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for 12:30 chapel service. []
