(nee Gockel) Siebert; loving father of the late Peter (Mary Beth) Siebert, Fran (James) Alferman, Mary (Gerald) D’Angelo, Mark (Ginger) Siebert, Ann (Rodger) Barrett, Gerilyn Siebert, Beth (Kevin) Lakamp, Russell J. (Debbie) Siebert, Teresa (Herman) Brocksmith, Susan (Scott) Tanner and Bill (Karen) Siebert; cherished grandfather of 31 and great-grandfather of 48; uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Russell met his wife Jean at the Casaloma Ballroom while jitterbugging. Together they enjoyed square dancing at the Wickerbob Square Dance Club and vacationing on Sanibel Island, FL. He was a medic in the US Army during WWII, after which he created a family legacy in the insurance industry, faithfully serving thousands of families and businesses in the St. Louis area over the years. Russell had a deep passion for faith, family, and his life’s work, as well as his favorite hobby of fishing just about anywhere, especially Canada. As family patriarch, he will be forever loved, always cherished, and never forgotten
Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Monday, October 15 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Paul Catholic Church (Fenton) for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment at J.B. National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 4-8 p.m.
