Cook, Kathleen Mary Shewell

Age 60 of Florissant, MO. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 7, 2019 at the de Greeff Hospice House, with her husband Jeff, family and best friend at her side.

Kathy was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 28, 1958, the daughter of the late John and Jacquelyn Shewell.

Kathy attended Fort Osage High School, was a 1980 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.

On May 24, 1980 Kathy married Jeffrey Cook, the love of her life and college sweetheart.

Kathy is survived by her husband Jeff, her sisters Karol (Ron) Kusunose, Denise (Stephen) Lehmann, Jacqui (Dean) Gordon and her brother Shaun (Kristi) Shewell. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Shewell; survived by her mother-in-law Jo Cook and brother-in-law Darren (Patti) Cook, many nieces and nephews.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL 10151 Gravois, Friday March 15, 4-8 PM. Memorial mass Saturday March 16, 11:00 AM at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church (11011 Mueller Rd., 63123). Memorials to Humane Society appreciated.
