Jane Dinzebach, (nee Justice) 83, born into this life on May 9, 1936 in Rosboro Arkansas and passed into her afterlife on June 21, 2019 at Evelyn’s House Hospice in St. Louis Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Adelia Justice and her husband, Ronald Dinzebach, whom she married on August 18th, 1956.
Being an only child, she loved her family above all else. She is survived by her sons, Mark, Mike and Don and her bonus daughters, Pam, Jeanne and Barb. She loved her four grandchildren, Emma, Danny, Michael and Steven in addition to her bonus granddaughter Mandy, the spouse of Steven. She was blessed with three great grandchildren: Makayla (Mackie), Steven (Stevie) and and her most recent, Edward (Eddie), who was born on June 10th 2019. The Great Grandchildren helped to regularly brighten her days with tea parties, fashion shows, dump trucks, racing around the house and lots of stories. The great grandchildren lovingly called her GiGi and thoroughly enjoyed the time she took to tell those stories, sing children songs, read books and to play hand puppets. Though mostly unconscious for the past week, Jane awoke long enough to see and touch her newest great grandchild and tell him he was adorable.
Jane wore many hats throughout her life that included loving wife, devoted mother, adored mother in law, cherished grandmother, Sunday school teacher for 27 years, community volunteer, poem and short story author, wonderful friend and avid animal lover.
She had several beloved dogs throughout her life. Most recently, Benny, her faithful Wheaten Terrier who was by her side for the past 11 years and he greatly misses her. She was known to feed and care for strays that found their way to her backyard, loved watching birds in her area and helped to protect their nests.
Jane loved to travel with her friends, and was fortunate to be able to visit many historic places and sites throughout the world. In addition to the many countries she visited, she also enjoyed touring and visiting the different states and cities of the United States. She enjoyed shopping with family and friends for antiques and Dryden and Camark pottery from her home state of Arkansas. In addition, Jane was an an avid reader and could seldom be found without one of her cherished books near her side .
A celebration of Jane’s life will occur at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, 63129. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 25th and Wednesday June 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m with a service following at 10:00 a.m. and followed by internment at Park Lawn Cemetery 1800 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63125.
