Kaeser, Donald Louis “Don”

84, of Affton, died Sunday March 20, 2022, after a brave battle with dementia.

He was born May 19, 1937 to William and Mamie Kaeser in the City of St. Louis.

Don married Judith Ann Wiese on June 7, 1969.

He worked as a machinist until his retirement in 1995.

Don was a highly skilled carpenter, who took great pleasure in creating unique furniture pieces and toys for friends and family. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed following Cardinals’ radio and television broadcasts.

Don was devoted to his family, and is survived by Judith “Judy”, his wife for more than 50 years; his children Terry and David Wiese; his grandchildren: Lisa, Michael P., Leslie, Timothy P., Michael W. Thomas, Christopher, Kyle, Kallie, Kaitlyn, Kevin and Timothy W., and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers William and Ronald; his daughter Linda Piasecki and grandson Tyler.

Services: Private interment services will occur on an undisclosed date at St. Paul Churchyard in Grantwood Village, Missouri. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Missouri.
