In Loving Memory

Mueller, Anna M. (nee Nahrstedt)

born July 8, 1930, passed peacefully on February 20, 2023 at the age of 92.

She was the widow of Ronald G. Mueller, and is survived by three children, Ronald J. Mueller, Barbara Cawi (Michael) and James Mueller (Sheila Naucke).

She has four grandchildren, Eric Cawi (Hesper Gabrillo), Cheryl Kovarik (Joseph), Kevin Mueller, and Corey Mueller; and two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Brianna Kovarik.

Ann was born and raised in St. Louis, graduated from Southwest High School and was married in 1949.  She and her husband opened General Grant Hardware in 1962, closing it in 1987. A retail store leaving little time for a vacation, they built a second home at Indian Hills Lake in Cuba, MO, where they spent most weekends with friends and family.

In her younger days, she was an avid bowler and bingo player.  More recently she enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino, but most of all, she liked being with her family, whether it was going to a restaurant or just watching TV.

Graveside Service Friday, March 31, 1:15 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
