Deborah K. Albenesius
June 13, 1960 – March 23, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Deborah K. Albenesius (McBride) on March 23, 2025.

Debbie was the beloved wife of Stephen F. Albenesius and a cherished daughter of Wanda McBride (Russell) and the late Eugene McBride. She was a devoted mother to Richard England and Amy England, a loving grandmother to Lizzy England and Aiden Pruneau. She was a dear sister to Terry McBride and Teresa Marsanick and a proud aunt to Kylie Marsanick, Justin McBride (Erica), Zac McBride (Sarah), and Dean Evans (Mackenzie). She also held a special place in her heart for her great-nieces and nephews—Karson, Elliott, Adelynn, and Vivian McBride, along with Mackenzie, Avery, and Colson Evans.

Debbie was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, especially when she was spoiling her grandchildren. Christmas was her absolute favorite time of year—she adored anything with snowmen and gingerbread houses, and you could always find her watching Hallmark Christmas movies or HGTV. She loved traveling with her lifelong friend, Jolene Jahraus, exploring places like Egypt, Tennessee, Arkansas, South Dakota, and Washington. She also enjoyed peaceful fishing trips at the lake in Cuba, MO, with her husband. Debbie had a gift for cooking and baking. She could whip up any recipe with ease, and every Christmas, she and her sister kept their special tradition of making homemade turtles—a treat everyone looked forward to.
Debbie’s warmth, kindness, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Services: A visitation will be held at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thursday, March 27, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at the same location on Friday, March 28, at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Park Lawn Cemetery.
