  1. For 50+ years I enjoyed spending time with Aunt Vera. She had a zest for life and was always upbeat. we had many great times and adventures from San Francisco to Hawai’i where we disregarded the red flags to wade into the waves on the north shore only to find ourselves being tossed on the beach. Most recently at her nursing home she insisted I go to their exercise class where she quickly showed me up to the instructor. Her memory and her enthusiasm were sharp to the very end. I will miss you deeply. Love Gary

  2. I knew Vera as a very happy person who loved God above all. My husband and I were privileged to take her to church every day for a few years. When I talked to her the last time the one thing, she asked of me is to tell Father that she was starting a group to say the rosary every day at the Home. She was a special person.
I was sorry to hear of her passing right before her “96”th birthday.
