  1. Such a good picture of Aunt Barbara. I visited her a month or so ago when she was in the rehab off of Ballas Road. She was so hopeful and full of spirit. I visited with her for 2 hours and could have stayed longer. She talked my ear off. She talked about all the places that she still wanted to go. I know she wanted to travel to Lake Erie to see her brother, my dad. She loved my dad very much. Whenever they were together they talked of all the times they had growing up and when we were older. I got to go to Downstream with Aunt Barbara for the first time on one of her trips. I wonder if maybe I got my traveling spirit from her. We had such a good time on that trip and she loved being there with my dad. She even won a few hundred dollars at Quapaw Casino. My husband and I go back to Downstream every fall for our anniversary. I will think of her every time I go there. She also talked of going back to Las Vegas. I am sad that Aunt Barbara has left us but I know that she is at peace and no longer suffering. She is reunited with Lonnie and her other siblings and mother. Aunt Barbara you were very much loved and will be missed.

  2. Barbara you will be missed by Sam and Me. We always loved visiting with you when we came to town. I only wish that we could have gone to Legas together and that you came to visit in Ohio. I know you loved hearing Sam’s stories and always enjoyed our company. I remember all of the parties we had and how much I enjoyed your company. You had such a struggle with your illnesses, but you were a fighter all the way. You had a lot of courage and a great role model for all of us to fight to the very end. God be with you. God be with your family. We will miss you, but you are always in our thoughts.
