In Loving Eternal Memory of Valerio L. Bianco
From Torino’s hills to Asti’s plains,
A boy of courage, born to reign.
At fourteen years, with steadfast might,
He joined the fight for what was right.
Through war’s dark days, he took a stand,
For freedom’s breath upon his land.
The echoes of his noble deed,
Live on in hearts that still believe.
Then westward bound, his journey turned,
Where love and life in St. Louis burned.
A chance begun, a bond was cast,
With Eleanor—his love to last.
Through years of toil with steady hands,
He worked, he built, he took his stand.
With strength, with heart, through storm and sun,
His duty done, his rest hard-won.
He tilled the earth, he stirred the pot,
He gave with love, he asked for naught.
A father true, a neighbor kind,
A friend whose warmth will stay in mind.
Now silence falls where laughter grew,
Yet love remains, both strong and true.
Though he departs, he is not gone,
His spirit sings in morning’s dawn.
So let us grieve, yet not despair,
For Valerio’s love is everywhere.
In gardens green, in meals well-shared,
In kindness shown, in hearts that cared.
Rest now in peace, your journey done,
Reunited with your dearest one.
Your story lives, your light won’t fade,
A life well-loved, a mark well-made.
My deepest condolences to Robert and all who knew and loved Val. May his legacy of strength, kindness, and devotion bring you comfort in this time of loss. May his Memory be eternal.
As. Children we saw how our family was abuzz over a remarkable man coming across the sea to carry away our cousin. Fortunately they didn’t go far. So we enjoyed the full life and energy of cousin Val.
Rest in God’s eternal peace.

Stella e Roberto Bianco.

The Potje Family
So saddened to lose such a unique, gentleman as Val was. Soft spoken but mighty in his beliefs, we will miss visiting him and Bobby!. My heart goes out to Bobby and Pete as there will be a sad silence where Val always was.
Loving thoughts and prayers,
Jean Eckrich
Condolences from the Kellner Family to Bob. For many years I’d drive down Bancroft Avenue to visit my parents and I’d see Mr. Bianco and Bob in their driveway.
