David G. Bramman, age 64, of St. Louis, MO died peacefully at home on Friday, December 13th, 2024 after a brief but aggressive battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving fiancee of 10 years, Anne-Marie L. Bone; children Andy (Grace) Bramman and Rachel (Drew) Watkins; grandchildren Peter, Russell, and Link; brothers Lee (Jill) Bramman and Craig (Alys) Bramman; and nephews Erik and Kyle (Kristin) Bramman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Virginia (Bachle) Bramman.
David was born in St. Louis and spent his life there, save for the years he spent at his beloved alma mater, Indiana University. David also earned an MBA from Saint Louis University, where his father was an alumnus. He was active in his local Knights of Columbus council for many years, serving in various leadership roles and organizing many charitable efforts. David was a life-long music enthusiast, and had seen pretty much every rock and roll and jam band you can think of play live. He loved to share music trivia and play DJ – even owning his own DJ-ing business for a number of years. He took great pride in his family’s property on the Big Piney River, lovingly called “The Shack,” and relished spending time enjoying nature and relaxing at the cabin there. David was also an avid non-fiction reader, and he enjoyed keeping up on and discussing current events. More than anything, David enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his three grandsons. He was a beloved partner, father, brother, and uncle, and a friend to many who will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus Developmental Center at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
Going home, going home
By the waterside I will rest my bones
Listen to the river sing sweet songs
To rock my soul

I am so sorry I won’t be able to attend the services due to a family commitment in denver. I just wanted to say I will never forget his laugh. It was a robust joyous sound and I heard it often when he would visit our home.
Our deepest sympathy to Andy (Grace) and Rachel (Drew). We are very sad his life was cut short by this devastating disease! We won’t be able to attend the service but our thoughts and prayers are with you. Pat and Thela Fitzgerald and family
David and I met in High School through a mutual friend Riester. I remember the games of Name that tune and the joy rides in the Rambler. We were friends, partners in marriage and parenthood, enemies then friends again. I was honored to be asked by David to accompany him on this last journey of his life and to be by his side when he went Home.
David, what a long strange trip it’s been. Rest in peace.
We just learned of the passing of David.
We wanted to give our condolences to his family, especially Andy and Rachel. They used to live down the street from us. My husband, Pat is also a music buff and he and David talked a lot about music and the different bands.
Very sorry for your loss,
Pat and Sandy Kehoe
