Cynthia A. Brandel (nee Gerak)
Our beloved mother passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. She is the daughter of the late Leroy and Louise Gerak (nee Gartner). She is proceeded in death by her sister Claire. She is survived by her sister, Marsha (Mark) England, her four children, Jennifer (Michael), Joseph (Angela), Jacqueline (Timothy), Jessica (Harley), her nephew, Aaron (Kelly), two great nephews, and her dog, Coco. Her lucky number must have been seven because she lived seven lives and has seven amazing grandchildren. A special thanks to her longtime special friend, Scott Haseltine.
Cindy was a passionate and dedicated sports fan. She devoted most of her professional life working for the STL Cardinals, Rams, Blues, and Steamers. Everyone loved her and will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Saint Louis, MO 63129) Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 4-8pm. She will be cremated and a celebration of life party for her will be set for a later date.

So sorry to hear Cindy. Your family is my thoughts and prayers.
Love you very much 2nd Mom. Everyone is going to miss your smile, laughter and uplifting spirit that you always had no matter what was going on at the time. You always made everyone around you laugh too. You have your wings now so fly and just keep an eye on everyone. I’m sure you’ll be watching the Cardinal games from above, no doubt. All of the family are in my thoughts and heart.

Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family. I am wishing you strength and comfort in the days ahead.
