Dear Bridges Family,
I was fortune to work with Larry at Weber Chevrolet. He always treated me well. Its with great sadness in his passing, we have lost a good man. We never had a cross word, which in the automotive business is indeed a rarity. He always was concerned with bodymen and mechanics well being and always strived to reward good work. He truly will be missed.

Everyone should have a wonderful friend like Larry He was kind, generous, and full of life He had an infectious sense of humor and a wonderful smile We bowled together for many years He helped me and coached me We talked about anything and everything through the years When I was in school many years ago and didn’t have two nickles to rub together, he kept my car running and I never paid a thing During the past few years while he was sick he was always more concerned about Jan, his wonderful wife, than he was about himself Larry and Jan were a perfect couple, in love from day one Jan told me she only dated one guy in her life and wanted to know how she did I told her she picked a spectacular guy Rest in Peace my friend I’ll miss you

I loved talking with Larry at McKay family gatherings or at the lake. He was always personable and engaging and I enjoyed our conversations. He will be missed.

I met Larry in 1965 when we bowled together at Century lanes. Larry always made us laugh no matter how we bowled. We shared a clubhouse with a few other people and on Sundays we would all head out to be together. Larry always was the life of the party. Sometimes your sides would hurt from laughing. A few months ago when you could still bowl, I met Larry at South Twin Lanes. He was there with Jan, caring for her as he always did. I talked to him for a few minutes. Know what? He made me laugh again. I will miss Larry. God bless him.
