Bujnak, James J., Jim “Boo from St.Lou” Bujnak passed away unexpectedly at the age of 77 on Monday, July 16, 2018, in his home in South St Louis County. He was the son of the late Ollie and Bernice Bujnak. He attended Holy Trinity Grade School and St Francis DeSales High School, Class of 1958. He went to work for Con P. Curran Printing Company where he worked for 20 years as a 1st Pressman and was a member of the GAIU. He took a gamble and left printing when an opportunity to work for Anheuser Busch open up. He spent 20 years as a Beerbottler and was a member of Teamster Local 1187, retiring on April Fools Day 1999. After retiring he went to work for Lowe Automotive where his goal was to put in 20 more years. He played Cork-ball with the Southwest County Cork-ball association for many years in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s. All of the above is a framework for how he LIVED his life: Through Family and Friends. Beloved husband of Sandy (née Christanell), his high school sweet heart; dear father of Todd (Laura), Terry “TJ” (Lucy), Tina (Dan) McGrath and Tom (Christine); dear brother of (the late) Lorraine Bujnak, (the late) Jane Crabtree, Veronica (the late Bob) Stockmann, Margie (Bob) Brennan; dear brother-in-law of Nan (the late Joe) Gaterman, Mike (Shirley) Christanell, Mary (Steve) McAllister; dear Grandpa of Michael Bujnak, Zachary Bujnak, Brian Ruyle (Becky), Anna Kazandjian (Brett), Anndrea Kirchner, Brittany Bujnak, Terry Bujnak Jr., Ian Bujnak, Rosie Lu Bujnak, Maggie McGrath, Connor McGrath, Colleen McGrath, Emma Bujnak, Henry Bujnak, Jack Bujnak, Benjamin Bujnak, Hayden Bujnak and Ella Bujnak; dear great Grandpa Boo of Alexander Bujnak, Isabella Bujnak, Cadence Kirchner, Angelique Benson, Victoria Washington and Coralie Kazandjian; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and dear friend.
Services: A visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, from 4 – 8 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63129. Additional visitation will be held Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at The Crossing at Grant’s Trail, 2760 Union Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63125 with a memorial service @ 10 am. Interment to follow at Mount Olive cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to The Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas.
