  1. So many fond memories! I’m so sorry for your loss, Betty, and all the Craig family. Bill had one of the best senses of humor in a person I’d ever seen. He really will be missed, I know! Strength and courage to you, Betty!

  3. We were just teenagers when Bill, Doug and I hung out together on Geyer and Mississippi. Bill lived on Mississippi and Doug and I lived on Geyer a few houses apart. We were typical teenagers about 16? Bill was always working on cars getting them to run and greasy dirty most of the time. One Friday to our surprise, here comes Bill walking toward Geyer and Mississippi clean from head to toe! Showered, shaved, hair combed, clean shirt, dress pants and shined shoes! Having no idea what he was up to we cracked up! Doug and I had never seen Bill this cleaned up before lol. Bill never told us, but he was in love. From that Friday and every Friday after that, Marge and Earl would bring their daughter, Betty Lou as Marge called her, to Eisles and Bill would be cleaned up and be with Betty until Marge and Earl took her home. I am happy to now know that Bill was married to the love of his life all these years.
My thoughts and prayers to Bill, Betty and his family.
    Your Old Buddy John.

  5. Billy was one of the most kind, caring, funny and protective persons I have ever met. It was in 1965 on Geyer and Mississippi, he and Annita were the family I had at the time, we were in separable, and Billy always looked after us. My fondest memories were our trips to White Castle and being at the store where they worked. He had a laugh that was contagious, and I knew one word that would make him blush and laugh. That will remain unsaid to maintain his tuff exterior. Billy was such a wonderful man and I know Betty was fortunate to have him and he was just as fortunate to have her. They were blessed to find the love of their life and share that together. Billy will forever be missed but never forgotten.
    Love you Billy

We love you & will miss you dearly. Rest easy my uncle and give my daddy a hug from all of us. Aunt B & Dru are in good hands you can’t bet on that.
