In Loving Memory

Dale, Catherine E. (nee Kossmeyer)

June 19, 1960 - March 26, 2026

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday March 26, 2026 after a courageous health battle. Loving wife of Kenneth Dale. Beloved mother of Kristy (Keith) Celeslie and Tiffany Dale. Cherished grandmother of Hannah, Hayden and Emma. Loving daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ann Kossmeyer. Dear sister of Christopher (Karla) Kossmeyer and Keith (Robin) Kossmeyer.. Our dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Catherine’s main focus in life was being a wife, mom and grandma. So much about her will be missed…Her contagious laugh, her deep love for her family, her contagious smile, gratitude for everything and everyone, love of the Slurpee, pride in her grandchildren, and ability to make the entire room laugh.

Services: A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 26, 2026, memorial visitation 1pm to 4pm at Be Our Guests 1776 Gravois Road High Ridge, MO 63049.

    • Larry,
Our mom adored you. She spoke fondly of you and deeply appreciated your efforts in helping strengthen her throughout her journey. She’s truly the strongest, most dedicated to doing her part on courageous journey to try and achieve transplant. We are and will forever be proud of her. Our hearts hurt so deeply, and your words are helpful during this excruciating time. Thank you… Cathy’s family

  3. Cathy was one of the most loving mothers I knew. I grew up down the street from her and she was always striving to make not only her daughters smile, but all the neighborhood kids that she welcomed into her home. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.
