  2. Francie, later Sister Mary Frances, is always a vibrant contributor to everything St. Philip Neri. Devoted to her dear parents, four energetic brothers, the entire Flynn family, the Notre Dame community, SPN Forever and countless others, she shared enthusiasm and laughter. She will always be remembered.. May she rest in heavenly peace..

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Sister Mary Francis. I believe I met her in St Louis at a family reunion. She was a gentle but strong force and will be greatly missed by everyone blessed to have had a part in her life. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

  10. Sr Mary Fran was a devoted SSND and teacher. She was so sincere and a genuinely caring person. I so enjoyed talking about Religious Education which we shared.
She so loved her brothers,, her sister-in-laws and of course her nieces and nephews.
She truly was “a Good and Faithful Servant.”
    Rest in Peace

  11. I worked in the office next to Sr. Mary Fran in Belleville. She was the archivist; I’m the editor of The Messenger, the diocesan newspaper. I was privileged to have the opportunity to get to know her. We had a lot of interesting conversations and a few laughs along the way. Her absence has created quite a void in the workplace. I couldn’t attend the Funeral Mass, but I’m so glad I was able to watch it online the day after. It was a touching ceremony. It was nice to hear from all her brothers, whom she talked about often. Rest in peace, Sister.
