Garavaglia Sr.; loving mother of Mary (Bill) Thurston, Marci (John) Coffman, Thomas (Ann) Garavaglia Jr. and Sally (Dan) Larkin; loving grandmother of Wyatt, Joe (Tiffani), Marty, Nora, Abby, Emma and Isabelle and great-grandmother of Aoife, Lucie and Wesley; dear sister of Rosemary Magee and the late Jack (surviving Joan) Thieman; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Tuesday, April 20, 9:45 a.m. for Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital appreciated. Visitation Monday, 6-8 p.m.

  5. I just saw that Joann had passed. I’m Kathy Edwards and Joann and my mother, Kathleen Macdonald Edwards were close friends when we lived in St. Louis. I remember playing with you, Mary and Marci My condolences to your family. I remember your parents well. They were kind to me.
