  21. I can remember my Gdma Gebhardt being surprised when Uncle Elmer brought home Aunt Neil, his Southern love. So handsome in this Army uniform, he had survived action in WW2.
GWEN, was the last, youngest, and ALSO cute grandchild.
Aunt Neil was such a treasure; always welcoming, always caring. She babysat her grandaughters, her great children and walked the dog. On our trips from Illinois, she shared stories about each one; the last lights of her life.
And Gwen and Fred took such wonderful care of her.
We will miss holding her hand, taking her to the cemetary, and hugging her goodbye with tears!
