Beloved husband of Nan Herr (nee Schulze); dear father of Cynthia (Steve) Jones, Deron Herr, Amy Rauscher, Sally (Ken) Jones, Ellyn Lakin and Guy (Angela) Herr; dear grandfather and Bearpa of Avella, Oscar, Ione, Tatum, Penelope and Emery; our dear bonus dad, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Mr. Herr was a 46 year employee of Nooter Corp.

Services: Visitation at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church (6303 Nottingham, 63109) Monday August 15, 11 a.m. until funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. A service of KUTIS AFFTON Chapel. kutisfuneralhomes.com

  3. When I did see Don, which was not very often, he was a very pleasant person to be around. Always upbeat, friendly, and genuinely interested in what was going on in my life as well. Simply just a nice man. I wished I had known him better. Our sons remain friends to this day.

  5. My condolences to Nancy and the kids. Don and George and Ed took a chance on my 29 year self to be Don’s successor at Nooter when he retired. I will never forget his kindness, patience and joy in life. Best times of my life outside of my family were with him.
