Surrounded by her family, Stacy M. Howard passed into the loving arms of God on 12/15/2023.
Stacy was the daughter of Maxine Boehm (deceased) and Roland Howard (deceased). She is survived by her brother Randy (Ruth), sister Laurie Sumpter (Rick). Nephews, Andy Howard, Matt Howard (Marcy), Timm Howard (Emily) Grant Sumpter and nieces, Amy Donnelly (Jay), Melissa Sumpter (Miguel), great nephews, and great nieces. She resided in Chesterfield, MO.
Stacy graduated from Lutheran School of Nursing. Actually, Stacy and Laurie both graduated at the same time. After graduation Stacy went right to work in the ER and Laurie went to the ICU. Stacy worked hard and earned her MBA and MHA from Lindenwood College. Stacy’s nursing career took many paths over the years before she achieved her goal of hospital CEO. She was loved by so many coworkers in the medical field.
She lived a simple life that was blessed with a family that loved her, her many dogs, Julio her parrot and many friends. It was pure joy to ensure that anyone who came to her house was well taken care of. If you were hungry (she loved to cook), thirsty, her door was always open, no matter the hour. If you left her house hungry, you had no one to blame but yourself.
Beyond her career Stacy found joy in life’s simple pleasure spending time with family, and friends. Decorating her homes was something that she excelled at. She could take a sad looking house and turn it into a stunningly beautiful home.
Family and friends are welcome to attend her visitation on Thursday, December 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 with a memorial service starting at 7. Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129. She was a member of St. Cronan Church
Donations may be made in Stacy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
Services; Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Thursday 12/21 from 4PM until service at 7PM.
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of an amazing woman. She loved to bring her poodles in the salon and get them glamourized in a unique lamb cut. It was a pleasure to have met her.
So sorry to hear about Stacy’s passing. Prayers to the family. I remember her and Laurie when I worked for her mother and stepfather Gene at Black Forest Apts.
