  3. While I only knew Kristine a few years at the School of Nursing at Columbia University, I know she was a valuable, hard working colleague and jovial friend to all. Kristine had moved back to Missouri when I met her but we had zoom calls and her quarterly visits to become acquainted. As a fellow Catholic we talked about her love of St Patrick’s and Bishop Barron! May her memory be a blessing and sincere sympathy to her family and friends.

  4. I am sorry for such a great loss. My prayers for Uncle Dave and Aunt Marilyn and Karri and family. I will remember Kris and the good times we all had at Grandma and Grandpa’s. Her smile was infectious. Love you all.

  5. Kristine was a force of good and a brilliant and dedicated editor and grants administrator.
She left a legacy of investigators and researchers who are inspired by and indebted to her for her help and motivation. She was a friend, colleague, cheerleader and teacher. My life is better for having known and worked with KK. May her memory be a blessing.

  6. Today I was told of your departure, and I was devastated! You were so full of hope, life and laughter. You taught me to love musicals, and I introduced you to comics. I’ll never forget the exciting convention in Philadelphia and how a stranger gave us free tickets to see Evita. What an ending for your birthday! Yes it was memorable. I also have such fond memories of watching tv with you. The series Smallvile was one of your favorite. And then I had you watch Dark Shadows and you were enthralled. Ah those are great memories. Then you left NY and you never contacted me although I still sent you emails and texts. As time went by, we drifted apart. But I always knew you were happy back in St Louis with your family. Now this news. I never got to say goodbye but I want you to know you will always be in my heart. I know we will meet again. Until that time, save me a front row seat in heaven’s theatre!
