  1. My very deepest condolences to Wendy and the entire family. I was so sad to hear about Don and will never forget his kindness and offer to help when my husband passed away. He was a wonderful, one-of-a- kind person and mailman.

  9. Don was awesome. From being our new mailman after Bill and then becoming our neighbor as well. He used to let us walk with him when he was delivering our street. Then to top it off, Wendy and Don helped raise my children and became a wonderful, lasting part of their lives. You will be missed. Ps, Muttonhead! From Dominic

  15. Don was a great guy and always fun to be around… I played poker with him a couple times a year… He always had something funny to say while he was winning or losing… he will be missed.

  17. My condolences to you and your family Wendy. I was so sad when I got the news. Don was a great friend of mine for 50 years, hard to believe he’s gone. Whenever I came to St. Louis to visit, I always knew Don would be the first one to come to Mark’s to see me and regale me with all the tales of our crazy youth. Don would always do anything for his friends, and I could count on him for anything. I am visiting St. Louis next month, but it won’t be the same. R.I.P. big guy… see you on the other side!
