(nee VonderHaar) Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection Saturday, March 17, 2018.  Preceded in death by her  parents Al VonderHaar and Alice Moushey. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Mahacek; loving mother of Kathy (Tom) Meyer, Shari (the late Jim) Keyes, Karen Nixon, Ray (Kathy Rae) Mahacek and Bob  (Julie) Mahacek; dearest grandmother of Matt (Ann), Jeff  (Jamie), Bryan (Saki), Sarah, Mary Allison,  Travis, Liza,  Danielle and Grace; dear great-grandmother of  Connor, Carter and Andrew; dearest sister of the late Larry (surviving Nellie) VonderHaar and Bob (surviving Dolores) VonderHaar; dear  sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Jeanette was part owner of VonderHaar Concrete, Wiethop Truck Sales and later the owner of Freight Express.  She was a long-time friend of The Fox Theatre and a patron of the arts in St. Louis. She has been a parishioner of St. Catherine Laboure since her family moved to the county in 1964.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., Tuesday, March 27, 4-8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, March 28 at St. Catherine Laboure Church from 9 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.  Interment  Resurrection Cemetery.
