Meyer, Evonne

(nee Leonard), born January 29, 1939, died Monday, March 12, 2018. Beloved wife for 55 years of the late Albert Meyer; loving mother of Jean (Jim) Mills and Linda (Ken) Melchionna;  beloved grandmother of Brendan and Jim Mills, Constance, Joe, Alissa and Rachel Melchionna; dear sister of Carol (Pat) Reed; dear aunt of Christine (Nick and Ryleigh) and Jennifer (Joe).

 

  Evonne retired after 25 years from Evans and Dixon Law Firm. She was an Affton High School grad and lifelong resident of her beloved Affton. A passionate Cardinals fan and Girl Scout  leader, she loved fly fishing and having fun with her 5 grand- children, especially triumphing over them in card games and scrabble.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151  Gravois, Saturday, March 17, 11 a.m. Private Interment at National  Cemetery. Memorials in Evonne’s memory may be made to St. Lucas United Church of Christ, where she was a member for over 55 years. Visitation Friday, March 16, 4-8 p.m.
