I got to know Lois through her husband who was my teacher and later colleague. She was a very gracious lady and they were a wonderful couple. I hope the family finds comfort in good memories of their lives.

Such a delightful, funny and caring cousin. Will miss our phone calls and her sharing her memories of growing up in Bloomfield. Sending wishes for peace and comfort to Mildred and the family.

My late mother Vivian Rose Statler and Lois were childhood friends. I met Lois through my mother. I last visited with Lois by phone three months ago. We agreed to visit this Spring when Lois’ breathtakingly beautiful dogwood trees bloomed. Instead, I’ve made a memorial contribution to the Missouri Botanical Garden. Lois was kind to me and our family. I offer my deepest sympathy to Lois’ entire family.

My condolences to both families. I knew and worked with both Lois and Dr. Middelkamp at Children’s Hospital long, long time ago.
Lois was such a vivacious person, great to be around.
Scott and Susan Middelkamp I got to know a bit thru their visits to the lab at the hospital, my thoughts are with you.

So sorry to find this news four months after her death. I worked in the Washington Univ. Cardiology lab on the same floor of Wohl Hospital as Lois for two years. Lois was a wonderful person that I considered a close friend. On many mornings I would have coffee on the ground floor of Kidde’s Hospital with Lois, Dr Middlekamp, and Dr. Duane Hellam.
Many years later I worked with Jim Belcher and was pleasantly surprised when I found out he had married Sharon and was Neal’s son in law. I called Lois a few days later and we talked for about an hour.
