Bill was an avid fan of music of all types, and no matter what life threw his way, he spent much of his time enjoying live music. Whether it was a sold-out stadium seeing Taylor Swift with his girls or a performance at the Old Rock House, it didn’t matter to Bill. Music brought him joy until his final moments.

He was always there for family , friends and his community. He was my big , little bother. I will always remember you.
My “favorite” cousin Billy will be missed beyond words! After the loss of my brother Jim many years ago Billy felt like a brother to me. Billy and I shared the love of Music and Baseball! Billy never failed to respond to my texts about anything! RiP Brother! See you on the other side!
What a fine man. He was an amazing individual before his cancer and continued to be even after all the years he went through his illness. He was a courageous and loving man. My deepest sympathies to all.
Such a loss! He was an incredible man who brought joy to so many! Thinking of his family and friends in this difficult time.
I am so sorry Mrs. Mueller. My thoughts and prayers are with and your family. Sending you much love.
Dear Bill, Michelle and his daughters.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
Billy is no longer suffering, another angel watching over you.
I am very sorry I won’t be able to attend the mass, it’s going to be at the same time as Father Welsch memorial mass.
May God keep you in His care.
Sincerely

I knew Billy as a young boy so we referred to him as Little Billy. He was always kind and gracious I admire his endurance and perseverance through this difficult illness Michelle’s dedication to Billy was noticed and commendable. I pray for healing in the Mueller family and Billy be at peace.
Honored to call you a friend. Concerts will never be the same without you. May you rest in peace— unless ZZ Top comes on, in which case crank it up. See you on the other side.
Extremely fortunate, lucky, and blessed to have called this great man a friend. A great father, husband, and human being who exhibited kindness, a never ending zest for life, and positive attitude at all times. The sadness is that I cannot spend more time with him. He made the world a better and more fun place.
Bill Mueller was a friend to all that knew him. His strength and perseverance was demonstrated in his battle with cancer the last 15 years. His contributions to his family, friends, and community were immeasurable. Your job is done, rest in peace Bill.
I loved serving with Bill on the De Smet Jesuit Alumni Association. He was the first person to reach out to me after my cancer diagnosis. I enjoyed talking music with him. Our last text was about Vampire Weekend not getting enough recognition. We both shared a love for Bourbon and Bill introduced me to Four Roses. Bill once referred to to me as the kindest man. He was in fact the kindest man. I will truly miss my Spartan Brother.
To my very kind and loving friend: You will be missed by all that was touched by you in Life , and by me very sincerely one of the best friends and fellow Lions I ever had the privilege to know.
