Pavlakes

In Loving Memory

Pavlakes, Bertha Jane (nee: Williams)

September 11, 1931 - June 28, 2023

Wednesday, June 28, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Milton Pavlakes.  Dear mother of Becky (Don) Darron and Linda (Larry) Alexander.  Dear MeMaw of Brent (Kayla) Darron, Rachael (Chris) Hoehn.  Dear G-Maw of Aria, Aurora and Addilyn.  Dear sister of Vivian House.  Our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

My mom passed away this morning at 11:11 am.   A good portion of family was all here with her when she left us. She was her happiest around chaotic family events. So we sent her on her way to Jesus and my Dad just the way she wanted. We are sad but this is not a solemn event. She is in her glorified body, walking without aid, seeing without glasses, hearing everything and catching up with all the people she has missed. At 91, she’s missed quite a few. Support us in our momentary sadness, but celebrate with us a life well lived and a good and faithful servant.

SERVICES:  Burial services will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery,  Friday July 21 at 10:45 AM.   Mrs. Pavlakes was a 50+ member of O.E.S.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Missouri Baptist Children’s Home appreciated.

  1. Becky and Linda,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was one of the sweetest people and I was lucky to know her and your dad when we were little kids thru adults. I know your mom is in heaven along with your dad and Bud and Polly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  2. Dear Becky and Linda, I am sorry to hear of your loss but grateful to know that Bertha is at peace. It has been such a pleasure spending time with Bertha and Vivian over the years, from our visits together when I was a little girl to our visits at Our Lady of Life over the past decade. It is truly a gift that Bertha and Vivian had these past few years together. They were inseparable sisters, making their crafts, sharing their stories, making people laugh. We have lost a loved one but heaven has gained another angel. Love, Sheri
