Age 54, passed away on Saturday, August 31st, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on January 30, 1970, in Kirkwood, MO, to Jerry and Diane Reichert, Trent grew up with a love for sports and a gift for storytelling. Tales of his athletic feats, often recounted by Trent himself, became a cherished tradition at family gatherings, bringing smiles and laughter to all who heard them. He graduated from Fox High School in Arnold, MO, in 1988, and later from St. Louis University in 1993, earning a bachelor’s degree in education.
Trent’s professional life was spent in the logistics industry, where he thrived for over 25 years. Known not only for his competence but also for his warmth and humor, Trent forged friendships with colleagues that lasted a lifetime.
In 1997, Trent met Christi Conrad. They married the following year, and from that day forward, Trent found his greatest joy in the life they created together. His devotion to his family was unwavering, and he took immense pride in being a loving presence in his children’s lives. Trent’s deep involvement was not just a part of their family dynamic—it was the cornerstone of their happiness and strength.
Becoming a grandfather was a role Trent cherished even more. As “Papaw” to his nine grandchildren, Trent’s heart swelled with pride and love. His playful spirit, endless patience, and boundless affection made him a hero in their eyes. His grandkids will forever treasure the memories of his laughter, his stories, and the way he made each of them feel uniquely special.
Trent’s life was also filled with cherished friendships. He valued the time spent with friends, whether on a river, at a race, or during hunting trips. While he may have never brought home the deer, the true treasures were the stories, the laughter, and the bonds made during those adventures.
Trent is survived by his loving wife, Christi; his children, Jordan (Kory) Noeth, Kristen (Nick) Baker, Colin, and Emily (Shawn Storie); his beloved grandchildren, Grayson, Liam, Railynn, Charlotte, Henry, Finley, Piper, Jameson, and Stanley; his parents, Jerry and Diane Reichert; and his brother, Todd (Lanee) Reichert.
Services will be held at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, Mehlville, MO, on Saturday, September 7th from 3:00-6:00 pm.
