Beloved husband of the late Ruth Schnurr (nee Hoog); loving father of Nancy (the late John Brown) Schnurr, James R. and Robert Schnurr, and Dianne (Gary) Schuette; adoring grandfather of Daniel Brown Schnurr, William and Abigail Schnurr, Valerie (Brian) Gaadt, Andrew (Katie) Schuette and Jamie (Mark) Ebel; dear great-grandfather of Ryder, Camille, and August Gaadt, Lucie Schuette, and Eleanor and Eli Ebel; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel 10151 Gravois Sunday April 2, 4:00PM -8:00 PM and at Little Flower Catholic Church (1264 Arch Terrace, 63117) on Monday April 3, 10AM until funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Private inurnment at JB National Cemetery. Memorials to the Veterans Organization of One’s Choice appreciated. A service of KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL.

  5. I was just thinking about Uncle Bill and Aunt Ruth, a couple of days ago, so odd that they just popped into my mind. Uncle Bill was always so kind to me and sweet. There always seemed to be so much happiness in the Schnurr home. Uncle Bill always seemed to be in the background and always made little witty comments just at the appropriate time. He will be in my prayers, as is your mother. Love to all the family!
