  1. Dear Seener family,

On behalf of my mother, Par Johnson, we’d like to express our condolences to you. Mrs. Seener was a wonderful woman. So very friendly and so helpful to Mom in many ways. Mom never forgot her kindness.

Mom has been asking about her often lately. She has also been talking about Mrs Seener’s artistic talent. She made a lasting impression on all of us.

    Best wishes,
    Dawn

  3. I’m saddened to learn of Peety’s (as my mother, Jeanette Hale, called her). She and Mother were best friends nearly all of their lives and loved one another dearly.
Peety was an incredible woman with many talents and gifts, as well as a long life. I imagine that she and Mother are happily reunited again. Thanks be to God!

  5. Aunt Pete had a great influence on me throughout my life. When we moved out of the projects to Valley Park she gave me an instruction at ten years old that has stuck with me to this day (74), “wipe your feet, wipe your feet.” Some years ago I had picked some blackberries and wanted to make a pie. I called Pete for advice and her response was classic, “Leonard, I don’t make pie crusts, I buy them at the grocery store.” She had a heart full of love.
