Beloved husband of Jennifer Shaughnessy (nee Zielonko); cherished father of Katherine “Kate”, Michael and John Shaughnessy; loving son of Michael and Margie Shaughnessy; dear brother of Kevin (Emy) Shaughnessy, Kathleen Shaughnessy and Maureen Shaughnessy; dear uncle of Kevin Jr., Cecilia, Elena, Mariana and Paula; dear son-in-law of Alice Zielonko and William Zielonko; dear brother-in-law of Zachery (Megan) Zielonko and Stephanie (Brian) Noakes. our dear nephew, great-nephew, godfather, cousin and friend.

Mr. Shaughnessy faithfully served his country in the US Army as a Combat Engineer, for over 5 years in the active military and 10 years in the Army Reserves.

Service: Visitation at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 6603 Christopher Drive, St. Louis, 63129, on Sunday, July 29, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with funeral mass on Monday, July 30, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Trust Fund that will be set up in the children’s name. Checks can be made out to US Bank and in the memo FBO Kate, Michael & John. Those can be brought to the wake or service or mailed to The Shaughnessy Family 7157 Shady Hill Dr. St. Louis, Mo. 63129.
