Singler

In Loving Memory

Singler, Terry Francis

May 12, 1964 - January 30, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished Terry Francis Singler on Friday, January 30, 2026. Terry’s life can best be encapsulated in 2 words: Family and Friends. In his 61 years here with us he experienced an abundance of each and filled so many lives with his love.

Terry was born in St. Louis, MO on May 12, 1964 to Norman and Rosella Singler (Rangle). The 4th of 5 children, Terry’s early life was spent in South City with his siblings. He was preceded in death by his father Norman and is deeply mourned by his Mother Rosella, his brothers Steve (Jennifer), Norm (Angela), Tom (Diane), his sister Edith Rice and many nieces and nephews. He was a loving and dedicated husband to Alicia (Toni) Rahman for 42 years and a doting father to Shaun Singler (Trisha), Christina Rayfield (Doug) and TJ Singler (Danielle). Perhaps his favorite role was that of a grandpa. “Papo” was loved by Emma, Nolan, Berkley, Jaxon, Mila and Remi.

Family meant the most to Terry but the friends he made over the years became family to us all. Terry cherished his friendships, developing them at each stage of his life and maintaining them for years. Most of these lasted until the very end.

Terry’s life was plagued by illness but he was a fighter through it all. Surrounded by family and friends creating memories on the banks of rivers or lakes, playing crowns, in small South City bars, house parties, or the family celebrations that expanded so much over the years. Terry was a creative person who enjoyed graphic design, using his passion to create gifts for those he loved.

Although his life was cut short, the space he leaves in our hearts speaks to his loyalty as a Son, Husband, Father, Uncle, Friend, and Papo. Proof it was a life truly well lived.

Services; A memorial visitation will be held at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Fri. February 6 th from 3-7PM. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Lupus Foundation of America in Terry’s honor.

Condolences
