Entered into rest on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Donald Sorrells. Shirley was married to Donald for 56 years. Donald passed away in 2010.
They happily raised their daughter, Diana. She and her husband Don have two children, David Unger and Dana (Mike) Schaefer. Shirley has two great granddaughters, Chloe and Lizzy Schaefer.
Shirley was a movie fan and especially loved “Old Hollywood” films. She was a garage sale pro and was a bookkeeper for Stix Daer & Fuller department stores– known today as Dillard’s. When Diana was born, Shirley became a full-time homemaker, caring for her home and family. Working cross-stitch and reading were two of her favorite past-times and Branson was her favorite place to go!
Funeral at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Wednesday, November 2 at 12 Noon. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
