  5. Dear Mike: Jan and I send you our most heartfelt condolences on your loss. I met Jane in 1988 when I first moved to StL, before I even knew you. We interacted numerous times in her workplaces over the years. I always appreciated her knowledge and her abilities as a teacher, and the fact that those came wrapped in such a pleasant and affable presence. We miss her, too.

  7. Mike – I’m so sorry for your loss. I always appreciated Jane’s enthusiasm for our shared interest in insects. The trip to western Oklahoma the three of us took remains one of my favorite field trips! Lynne and I send our heartfelt condolences.

  9. Dear Mike and family,
While everyone who knew and loved her as well as the Earth itself sighs with grief, we will all feel her love in nature. Especially when a butterfly flutters by.

  11. Hey Mike,

Jane is simply an awesome aunt with a charisma that made everyone surrounding her feel special. She showed everyone that she was there for them whether if she was in the room or not. I’m very thankful for the impact that both of you have established on my life. Mike, you’re always in my thoughts and I’m always here for you, too.

    With love,

  15. Dear Mike,l and family,

Words are a poor means of conveying condolences for your loss. Unfortunately I do not think I ever had the chance to meet Jane personally, but I know the caliber of person that Mike is and am confident she was a special and inspiring person. May God wrap you with His peace and comfort as you mourn her loss.
