Passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026. He is now at peace in the arms of God.
Beloved husband of Mary Swanson (nee McMillan); dearest son of the late Milton and Dorothy Swanson; loving brother of Suzanne Swanson, Michael Swanson, and Juliann Heilhecker; our dear son in law, brother in law, uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend.

God speed my precious brother. I never knew anyone who loved Jesus like you did and worked to follow God’s word more faithfully than you. I love you more than words can express. You were and always will be my best friend. I will miss you everyday.

My thoughts are with Eric’s family as they mourn his loss. He was a terrific man, deep in God’s word and an inspiration to us all. I will miss seeing him and hearing his prayers and God’s workings through him. We ‘Show Me Patriots’ know him to be a leader and courageous supporter of our country. God has a new Angel!
