Tate, Seth Quinton Lee

In Loving Memory

Tate, Seth Quinton Lee

April 16, 2008 - March 8, 2025

Seth Tate was taken from us suddenly on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the young age of 16 years old. Seth was born in St. Louis, MO on April 14, 2008, to parents Patrick A. Tate and Danielle Adamson. Seth was an amazing young man who, even though he is gone physically, still shines brighter than anyone we’ve ever known. He loved singing, writing/recording his own music, spending time with his family and friends and enjoying life to the fullest. Seth always had a smile on his face that would light up the room. He was intelligent, ambitious, creative, goofy and his laugh was infectious. Seth was a bright light extinguished too soon, and he will forever be remembered and loved! Seth is preceded in death by his mother, Danielle Adamson, and his grandmother, Janet Tate. He is survived by his father, Patrick Tate, his siblings Devin Tate, Destiney Tate, Johnathan King, Sydney King, Emma Tate and Gavin Tate, his 5 nephews, his godson, and countless other family members and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Seth’s life will be held on Sunday, March 16th from 2:00 pm-8:00 pm at Kutis Funeral Home,10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis, MO 63123. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 17th at 1:00 pm (please arrive by 12:30).

  2. I will forever miss you Seth. You were so important to so many people you are so loved and you always will be. I know we’re not supposed to question it but we will never understand why God needed you more than us and I most definitely won’t say you’re in a better place because I don’t think it’s better that you’re not here with us, but I will say that you’re in a good place. I hope you find peace up there and let you see all the ones you love the most. Gone but never forgotten. See you on the flip/side.

  3. My Nephew Seth
I wish you could feel my heart beating out of my chest,
While I set here and try to understand this heap of mess.
God must have a Big plan for you I guess,
Knowing he took away a very special young man My Nephew Seth.
We stand here and ask God why, why, why,
With all these tears rolling from are eyes,
Well like always there is no replies.
If only God would of gave us more time with you,
So you could be here and hear me ,when I say I love you My Nephew.
As I say onto you My Nephew Seth,
Now we lay you down to rest,
You give them up there in heaven all your best. My Nephew Seth…
