I was an usher with Norm at 8 o’clock mass what kind and thoughtful man a real gentleman.
Norm was a very good friend of my husband, Jim McBride. I met Norm shortly after Jim and I married in 1972. While Jim was very ill in 2010, Norm came to our home in Rimrock, AZ and spent six weeks visiting Jim every day. They always shared great stories of their adventures.
My impression of Norm was that he loved life, loved his friends and family, and would do anything he could to help another human being. He was smart, loved learning new things, and trusted God wholeheartedly.
Love and prayers to Norm’s family and friends. We will see him again and hear some new stories!
I was just thinking of our dear Norm and wondering why I hadn’t heard from him this tax season. Our family’s love, prayers, and condolences on the loss of an incredible man! Norm was a bright spot in my day each time we spoke for the many many years I prepared his tax return. His wisdom, kindness, and comforting voice will be missed.
