  5. I’m truly saddened to hear about Wayne. It was an honor to call him my friend. He was one of my oldest machine shop students. Probably 100 when he took my class. It was a joy having him as a student and mentor to the youngsters.

I’ll miss our trips to King Edward’s. I believe it’s your time to buy.

So long, old friend. My heartfelt prayers go out to your family. May you rest in peace.

  13. Wayne was a good sailor and a fun person to be with! He influenced me to buy my first boat, a Lightning. Our club lost a spark when he dropped out!

  15. My dear friend Wayne.
Wayne and I were helicopter instrument instructor pilots at Ft Rucker Al during 1968 to 1970. Also Vietnam helicopter pilots previously. Years later Wayne flew for Carson Helicopters and invited me to fly with him at Marble Mount in Washington State. We kept in touch ever since and we were planning a trip next year to visit. RIP my friend
