  1. Bob was a good friend of mine since the 1960’s at Continental Can. We always stayed in touch thru out the years. It is really strange, but this morning I was thinking about him and thought, I will call him tomorrow because I always contacted him on his birthday as he did mine and do not remember if I did this June. Then, this evening Marvin called me with the sad news.
I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very special person and a very special friend.

  2. I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. He was a very good friend of my dad, Dan Cieslinski. They worked together at Continental Can and hunted together for years at the wilderness. I hope they are together again along with their other buddy, Ed Hall! Sending prayers to the family.

  3. Bob was a very devoted, grateful & faithful friend. Anonymity is highly valued in 12 step programs, but with Bob being gone, I get to share this.
I met Bob through Nicotine Anonymous. I was chairing the first meeting he came to. Bob was so honest & open & helped anyone in need. His gratitude was overwhelming & he proved it by chairing a Nicotine Anonymous Meeting, weekly, for 20 yrs. Bob helped countless people find true FREEDOM from Nicotine. He made every one of their lives so, much better by adding “healthy” years to their lives.
He’d say, “You were there for me, Rita, and I want to be there for others”.
Bob was also in charge of the St. Louis Area Meetings for years.
A while back when I called his phone I was kinda worried when I could not reach Bob. I would always send Bob the men who called NicA. I tried to find him before on line but this time I was successful, only to get the sad news.
I will call other members to let them know that Bob is gone. We already missed him, but now we know he won’t be coming back. I was really hoping that he’d call me saying he moved.
I feel I know Bob’s Family through Bob. God bless you all. I can only imagine how much you all miss Bob. Bob’s Family came first. I’ll have a Mass said for Bob. We go to St. Rose in DeSoto, MO. I’ll give you details later.
