(nee Williams) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, January 19, 2018. Beloved wife of the late William M. Whalen; loving  mother of Mary (the late Tim) Wolf, Patti Gabriel, William M. (Melissa) Whalen, Julia B.  (William) Schneider and Kathleen (Matthew) Payne; adoring grandmother of Lara (Anna), Matthew (Jessica), Jenny (Adam), Patrick (Cari), Michael, Emily, Reid,  Bridget, Molly, Maggie, Ellen, Ethan, Alex and Ryan; cherished great-grandmother of  Elizabeth, Alex, Lucy, Beatrice and Aubrey; our dearest sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Services: Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church (243 W. Argonne Dr., 63122) on Thursday, January 25, at 10 a.m. Interment at J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Cardinal Ritter Senior Services appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff at Cardinal Ritter for the love and care given to their mom.
