Wohlschlaeger, Cheryl Marie

April 6, 1960 - March 7, 2025

Cheryl Marie Wohlschlaeger, age 64 passed away on March 7th. 2025 at st Mary’s hospital in st louis, MO.

She is preceeded in death by her husband Sean Britt, her nephew Brian pracht & her parents Joyce & John Mclaughlin.

Cheryl was a cherished daughter, a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin & friend to those which they pertained.

Cheryl loved to cook for the family & was amazing at doing so. While raising 2 children, she also took care of her father-in-law, who was a double amputee with other complications for 12 years. Cheryl took loving, great care of her parents until their passing. Cheryl always put the needs of others before her own, taking the time to care for & feed them, whether it was necessary or not. She was always there & it was known that she could be relied & depended on. She had an enormous & generous heart, with not a selfish bone in her body.

If you knew Cheryl, then you knew her best friend & cherished companion, Lil Bit, her Yorkie whom she loved with all her heart. Cheryl’s presence was truly a blessing to all who knew her & we cherish as well as celebrate her life as a wonderful gift to this world.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Dani & Garrett Britt. Also, her grandchildren, Stephen Aplin, Hila Britt, Riley Britt, Ella Britt & Sean Britt. Cheryl’s two sisters, Cindy Gall & Belinda Nahmensen. Her neices, Brittany Mims, Kasey Gall & Lisa Pracht. Her nephews, David Pracht & Eric Gall. Great nice, Leah Pracht & great nephew, Ben Pracht. And finally, loving friends, Terry Roderick & Dean Weiss.

Memorial services for Cheryl will be held at Kutis funeral home on Lemay Ferry rd. On March 18th from 4:00pm-8:00pm (immediate family service beginning  @ 3:00pm)

  1. Oh mom, my heart is broken…. I didn’t expect this. I thought you were going to come home, just like you always did. I am going to have to try and live without you somehow. I will never be the same. When you left, a huge part of me went with you, and that part of me will never come back. You were a wonderful mom- the best. I love you with all of my heart, my whole soul is mourning and hurting so bad. I know you will always be with me, wherever I go. You can finally rest now, mom. You did everything and then some and I know your in peace. I love you, mom.

  2. My heart hurt for Cheryl’s family. I’ve been praying for them. I’ve know Cherly and her family for over 20 years, she was amazing person and a great cook. 🧑‍🍳 I will miss her.
